OWO Integration - Subnautica 2

What is OWO?

The OWO Skin is a haptic technology that allows you to feel everything that happens in a videogame. The OWO is capable of delivering highly realistic and precise sensations, such as the feeling of impacts, the recoils from your weapons, or even the subtle sensation of insects moving across your skin.

Requirements

Subnautica 2 on PC (Steam or Xbox Game Pass), Windows x64; the non-dev version of UE4SS for Subnautica 2, installed separately; and MyOWO with the OWO Skin paired and calibrated.

Installation instructions

- Copy the Subnautica2OwoMod folder into the UE4SS Mods folder:

For Steam:

... Subnautica2 Binaries Win64 ue4ss Mods

For Xbox Game Pass:

... Subnautica2 Binaries WinGDK ue4ss Mods

The mod includes its own enabled.txt file, so there is no need to edit mods.txt.

- Open MyOWO with the OWO Skin connected and calibrated, launch the game, and select the game card in MyOWO. MyOWO will not connect to a game until the user selects it.

Notes: If the game does not connect to MyOWO—for example, because a VPN or network is blocking the broadcast—set ServerIp= to the IP address shown in MyOWO, then restart the game.

Manual Connection

If you are having trouble with the automatic connection, create a .txt file called OWO_Manual_IP.txt and write the IP of where you placed the OWO mod.
