Summary

Subnautica 2 Mod Hub is a fan-run community site. We collect the minimum data needed to run the service, never sell your personal information, and let you delete your account at any time.

What we collect

  • Account data: email address, username, optional display name, bio, avatar URL, and authentication provider (email or Discord OAuth).
  • Content you create: mod submissions, comments, ratings, collections, forum posts, guides, and reports — all visible per the visibility settings you choose.
  • Usage data: mod and page view counts, download counts, follower/following lists. We do not log individual IPs long-term.
  • Payment data (if you donate): we do not store card details. Stripe processes payments and we keep only a donation ID, amount, currency, and timestamp.

Third-party services

  • Supabase — authentication, database, file storage. Hosted in their managed cloud.
  • Vercel — site hosting and serverless functions.
  • Google AdSense — displays ads on the site. AdSense may set cookies for personalised ads; you can manage these via the consent banner or your Google Ad Settings.
  • Stripe — payment processing for supporter donations.
  • External APIs — Reddit, Nexus Mods, GitHub, Steam, and CurseForge are scraped server-side hourly to populate the news feed. No personal data is sent to them.

Cookies

We use cookies strictly necessary for authentication (session tokens issued by Supabase). Google AdSense may set additional advertising cookies. You can clear cookies via your browser settings at any time, but this will sign you out.

Your rights

  • Access — view all your data via your dashboard and settings page.
  • Correction — edit your profile, bio, avatar, and submissions any time.
  • Deletion — delete your account via settings, or contact us. Deletion removes your profile and content. Some content (e.g. reports about you) may be retained for moderation history.
  • Portability — request an export of your data by emailing us.

Children

The site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and update the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced in the news feed.
