Keep Crafting
Description
Keep Crafting makes fabricators a little less needy. Once you add something to a fabricator's queue, it will continue crafting even after you close the menu and walk away.
Queues belong to the fabricator that started them, so you can load up several fabricators and have them all working independently at the same time. The mod uses the game's normal crafting system, which means recipe costs, crafting times, item output, and multiplayer replication are still handled by the game.
In multiplayer, an active fabricator is reserved for the player who started its queue. If another player tries to craft with it while it is busy, they will receive a "Fabricator in use!" message and the existing queue will continue undisturbed.
The default max distance is 25 meters and can be adjusted in the mod's configuration file.
Installation instructions
• Install a Subnautica 2-compatible version of UE4SS.[/*]
• Download and extract the mod archive.[/*]
• Copy the KeepCrafting.zip folder into:
Subnautica2 Subnautica2 Binaries Win64 ue4ss Mods [/*]
• Open ue4ss Mods mods.txt and add:
KeepCrafting : 1[/*]
• Fully restart the game.[/*]
For a Game Pass installation, use the WinGDK folder instead of Win64.
If you are updating from an older version, remove the old KeepCrafting folder before copying in the new one. Do not merge the old and new Scripts folders.
In multiplayer, the host and every joining player should install the same version of the mod.
Configuration
After the mod has run, you can adjust the distance at which a fabricator stays unfolded by editing:
ue4ss Mods KeepCrafting config.luaThe default setting is:
