S2 Mod Manager

A lightweight mod manager for Subnautica 2. Drag in a mod, toggle it on, and play --

your game folder stays clean because every mod lives in a managed library, not loose in

your install.

Handles both PAK content mods and UE4SS script/blueprint mods, sorts them into the right

folders automatically, and can send your entire modded setup to a friend with a single

connection key.

## Getting started

1. Download the latest release and unzip it anywhere.

2. Run `S2ModManager.exe`.

3. On first launch, confirm the auto-detected game folder or browse to it in **Settings**.

4. Drag a mod archive (`.zip` / `.rar` / `.7z`) onto the window, toggle it on, and play.

## Requirements

- Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)

- Subnautica 2 installed via Steam

- UE4SS only needed for UE4SS-type mods -- the manager can install it for you.

- Peer-to-peer sharing needs UPnP or a forwarded port. `.s2profile` export works offline.

No accounts, no launcher, no background services.
