
Expands the Collector Leviathan’s territory and detection range to make encounters feel more natural and less limited by invisible boundaries. Designed for the current Early Access build of Subnautica 2, where the Collector’s default behavior is still heavily restricted.

What this mod does
This mod expands the Collector Leviathan’s patrol territory and detection range in Subnautica 2.
• Makes the Collector roam a much larger area [/*]
• Reduces the feeling of invisible AI boundaries [/*]
• Improves detection and pursuit behavior [/*]
• Keeps the original AI personality and utility system intact [/*]
The Collector now seems especially interested in playing with the Tadpole, and exploring dark areas without flares may no longer be the best idea.

• Reduced the Collector's sight range. [/*]
• Reduced long-range aggression compared to the previous version. [/*]
• The Collector is less likely to notice and pursue players from very large distances. [/*]
• Adjusted obstacle avoidance behavior. [/*]
• The Collector will now try to get closer to terrain, cliffs, cave entrances, and other obstacles instead of turning away as early as before. [/*]
• Because of this, it may sometimes be able to reach players hiding near terrain where it previously would have given up. [/*]

Requirements
This mod requires UE4SS to work.
Install UE4SS first, then place this mod inside your UE4SS Mods folder.
Installation
Install UE4SS
Extract:
CollectorGroundsCopy the folder to:
Subnautica2 Binaries Win64 ue4ss Mods Start the game

Compatibility
Tested with current Subnautica 2 Early Access builds.
Should work with most other UE4SS Lua mods.
Known Limitations
• Future game updates may require adjustments[/*]
• The aggro-range is very high to prevent despawning, tweaks will come soon[/*]
• It somehow could despawn when out of sight for a period of time before it spawns again near the sparse plains[/*]
• Currently attracted to vehicles moreoften than divers
