Enable Sprint

Description

• Adds sprinting in bases and every solid ground[/*]

• Binds are set to Left Shift, Left Ctrl and L3/LS (controller)

(I decided to bind two keys for keyboard because of some biomods that can be activated inside your base using Shift Key. On the other hand, controller does not have any empty buttons for a backup sprint key, so there is only L3/LS)[/*]

• Sprinting speed is 2x/1.6x normal walk speed 

(Available two versions. SN1 has sprint at 2x)[/*]

• Walk speed remains unchanged[/*]

Installation instructions

• Download and Install UE4SS[/*]

• Download Enable Sprint [/*]

• Copy mod files to Subnautica2 Subnautica2 Content Paks LogicMods [/*]

• (Optional) Copy fix folder to Subnautica2 Subnautica2 Binaries Win64 ue4ss Mods[/*]

Troubleshooting

• Footsteps sound stuttering[/*]

As of the time of writing this, there is no separate sprint state implemented in the game engine, which forces workarounds. Also, as far as I know, there is no safe and reliable way to modify the sound cues directly without digging deep into the animation system. To ensure the mod remains lightweight, safe and does not cause crashes or affect performance, I decided not to overcomplicate things. Instead, I implemented an optional workaround fix that simply disables the specific sound cues while sprinting (walking sounds remain unaffected).
