Description

This mod shortens the fabricator crafting time for all recipes so items are produced instantly. This allows crafting multiple times in succession without having to wait for each item to finish before the next one starts, resulting in long queues. It can be toggled off and on any time with a keybind, and it's a host-only mod so only the session host needs it installed, all other players benefit automatically.

The goal of this mod was to mimic bulk-crafting behavior, which is difficult to accomplish in practice due to server-side queueing restrictions. Craft time can be configured if the default (0.01s) feels too short.

Installation Instructions

• Install UE4SS for Subnautica 2[/*]

• Extract the InstantFabricate folder into[/*]

Subnautica2/Subnautica2/Binaries/Win64/ue4ss/Mods/

• Launch the game. InstantFabricate should be enabled by default. Press F7 to toggle off/on[/*]

Main Features

• Instant crafting - all fabricator recipes complete in 0.01s (configurable)[/*]

• In-game toggle - press F7 (configurable) to enable/disable any time[/*]

• Persistent state - remembers your on/off preference across game restarts[/*]

• Host-only multiplayer - only the host needs the mod, all players get instant crafts[/*]

• Configurable speed - set craft_time in config.txt [/*]

• Vanilla safe - toggle off to restore original crafting times instantly[/*]

Requirements

• UE4SS for Subnautica 2 - required for all Lua mods[/*]

Multiplayer non-host clients do not need UE4SS or this mod installed!

Configuration

Edit config.txt in the mod folder to customize settings:

Subnautica2 Binaries Win64 ue4ss Mods InstantFabricate config.txt

• keybind - Toggle key (default: F7). Options: A-Z, F1-F8[/*]

• craft_time - Crafting time in seconds when enabled (default: 0.01). Set to 0.5 for half speed, 1.0 for one second, etc.[/*]

• notify - Show in-game toast notification on toggle (default: true)[/*]

Changes take effect after restarting the game (or resetting mods if you have the UE4SS dev installation).
